Job Summary:

Your main responsibilities will include assisting the dentist during procedures, preparing treatment rooms, and ensuring the comfort of our patients.

**Duties**:

- Prepare treatment rooms for dental procedures by sterilizing instruments and setting up equipment
- Assist the dentist during procedures by handing them instruments, suctioning, and providing other necessary support
- Take and develop dental x-rays as directed by the dentist
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care instructions
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using Dentrix or similar dental software
- Schedule appointments and manage the dental office's front desk duties as needed
- Adhere to HIPAA guidelines to protect patient privacy and confidentiality
- Follow strict aseptic techniques to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Assist with medical coding and billing processes as required

**Experience**:

- Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or similar role
- Knowledge of medical documentation, dental receptionist systems, patient assessment, and medical coding
- Familiarity with Dentrix or other dental software is highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex procedures to patients
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

THIS is for TUESDAYS, THURSDAYS and FRIDAYS

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 per week
