The Opportunity:
Works independently under close supervision, develop and implement initiatives to improve customer services. Analyze and summarize customer issues in order to prepare appropriate solutions/clarifications to respond to customers. Analyze customer issues so as to develop tools and processes to increase customer satisfaction.
- Job Description
- MAJOR JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Team with key account managers to grow, monitor and manage key accounts
- Develop customer relationships with key buyers
- Join customer calls to represent the customer care function
- Manage open orders on a daily basis and provide proactive communication to the customer on changes in ship dates
- Research customer orders and coordinate with other internal teams to ensure customers have the information they need and/or resolve issues
- Analyze data and create reports based on customer trends
- Report customer complaints and follow-through on resolution
- Keep respective teams informed of all activity
- Act as a liaison for key account sales representatives
- Responds to requests for information in a prompt, professional and positive manner
- Acts as an escalated resource to Customer Care Reps to diffuse escalated calls
- Create quotes, sample requests and enter orders as time permits
- Represent the NuSil brand and present a professional image to customers to give an outstanding image and impression of NuSil and Avantor
- Perform other duties as assigned
- QUALIFICATIONS (Education/Training, Experience and Certifications)- Work experience should include 7+ years in a sales, sales support, or customer service role
- Business to Business customer service or sales experience preferred
- Excellent communication skills are required, both written and oral
- KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES (Those necessary to perform the job competently)- Excellent listening, verbal and written skills
- Excellent communication and team interaction skills, routinely interacting with customers and other NuSil associates
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Ability to carry on a business conversation with business owners and decision makers
- Ability to handle difficult situations and interactions
- Ability to work independently and successfully manage time and territory
- Ability to understand individual customer operations
- Willingness to travel to customer locations as needed
- ENVIRONMENTAL WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL EFFORT (Under Typical Positions)- Works in an office environment with adequate lighting and ventilation and a normal range of temperature and noise level.
- Work assignments are diversified. Examples of past precedent are used to resolve work problems. New alternatives may be developed to resolve problems.
- A frequent volume of work and deadlines impose strain on routine basis.
- Minimal physical effort is required. Work is mostly sedentary but does require walking, standing, bending, reaching, lifting or carrying objects that typically weigh less than 10 lbs.

Pay Transparency:
The expected pre-tax pay for this position is

$64,000.00 - $106,000.00

Actual pay may differ depending on relevant factors such as prior experience and geographic location.
