Overview:
The IT Disposition Specialist will help manage the Enterprise disposal of IT assets such as computers, servers, monitors and other electronic equipment. The IT Disposition Specialist responsibilities include working with the Field technicians to gather all the electronic equipment which have come to End of Life. The IT Disposition Specialist will work with the Procurement Department to research new vendors who are certified IT Asset Disposition and have a high solution provider. This role will work with leaders in our organization to understand the needs of our department and ensure we achieve our disposition goals in a timely manner. Work with the IT Asset Manager to assist and perform the Asset Management function for IT assets for the Central Health Enterprise. This includes maintaining asset records; IT asset inventories; producing reports that are used to audit data quality, to ensure complete accuracy. Work will include decommissioning of equipment, auditing, updating, and verifying the existing asset information. This person will generate reports, prepare, schedule disposal pick up and oversee all Hard Drive destruction according to Enterprise standards. Also, must be able to receive and track all IT related equipment, ensure proper destruction of hard drives, and inventory tracking for decommissioned equipment. Other duties as assigned.

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for the secure and environmentally friendly disposal of IT Assets.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards for IT asset disposal.
- Coordinate with sites and departments to schedule and manage IT asset disposal.
- Manage relationships with vendors for IT asset disposal and recycling.
- Maintain accurate records of all disposed IT assets.
- Ensure data security by overseeing the secure destruction of data from disposed assets hard drive.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on proper disposal procedures.
- Monitor industry trends and best practices related to IT asset disposal.
- May perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
**MINIMUM EDUCATION**:

- High School Diploma

**MINIMUM EXPERIENCE**:

- One (1) year of experience in IT Asset Disposition
