**POSITION: Administrative Assistant**

Allen & Kimbell, LLP is looking for an **Administrative Assistant** who will support the Administrator and Billing Clerk in performing various administrative and accounting functions. **Responsibilities include**:

- Assist with accounts payable, including reconciling bank accounts, credit cards, vendor statements, resolve discrepancies, and maintain required business records
- Assist with accounts receivable, including billing, posting payments, and collections
- Assist with human resources, including payroll processing, onboarding new employees, compliance and legal requirements, planning and executing benefits enrollment, organization wide meetings, employee recognition events, and holiday parties
- Assist with facilities management, including ensuring office equipment is operational and used properly, monitor interior and exterior areas and schedule maintenance as needed, and review service contracts
- Ensures smooth operation of the Firm by providing backup support

**Qualifications**:

- Strong analytical skills
- Diligence in meeting deadlines and completing assigned tasks
- Reliable, detail oriented, highly organized, and able to balance competing and changing priorities
- Self-starter and independent thinker able to offer feedback and suggestions
- Superior oral and written communication skills
- College degree preferred with 2+ years of administrative/office experience; or an equivalent combination of education and law firm experience.
- 2+ years bookkeeping experience
- Excellent interpersonal skills: ability to interact well with clients, vendors, and coworkers
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Proficient knowledge of Outlook, Word, and Excel programs
- Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality

Schedule:

- Part-time (30-35 hours per week, traditional business hours)
