LaSalle Network is partnering with a supportive, high-performing company in Westmont, IL, to hire a Payroll Specialist. This contract-to-hire position pays $55,000-$65,000 annually , depending on experience, and offers a hybrid work schedule with three days per week onsite. If you love numbers, process improvements, and solving complex payroll puzzles, this role was made for you. Responsibilities: Process bi-weekly payroll for approximately 1,000+ multi-state employees accurately and on time Maintain and update payroll information in Workday, ensuring data integrity and compliance Audit and reconcile payroll reports to ensure accuracy of wages, taxes, and deductions Handle payroll inquiries from employees in a timely and professional manner Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure proper processing of new hires, terminations, and pay adjustments Assist with quarterly and year-end reporting, including W-2s and tax filings Stay current with federal and state payroll laws and regulations Qualifications: 2+ years of payroll processing experience, preferably in a multi-state environment Workday Payroll experience required Strong understanding of payroll regulations, tax withholdings, and compliance High attention to detail with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong analytical abilities Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information Why You'll Love It: Hybrid flexibility - 3 days in-office in Westmont, IL Great team culture with a supportive and collaborative manager Competitive pay and benefits with potential to convert to permanent employment Compensation: $55,000-$65,000 Benefits: Medical, Dental & Vision Apply Today Apply now and join a company that's as passionate about your growth as you are about your work.
