Flexible work schedule
Manage a diverse portfolio of litigation matters in a variety of industries.
Draft pleadings, motions, and appellate documents and file them with the court.
Perform administrative duties (calendar hearings and deadlines, organize case files, manage logistics, etc).
Conduct legal research and draft memoranda.
Engage in discovery process, including drafting discovery requests and responses, and managing document productions.
Participate in trial preparation, including drafting trial briefs, motions in limine, and preparing and questioning witnesses.
Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
A minimum of 2-3 years of commercial litigation experience.
Experience with estate litigation is a plus.
Proficiency in legal research software and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Proven track record of managing all aspects of commercial litigation matters, from inception through resolution.
Demonstrated ability to develop and execute case strategy, manage discovery, take and defend depositions, draft and argue motions, and engage in trial preparation and trial work.
