Our client, recognized by U.S. News among the “Best Companies to Work For – Law Firms,” is seeking a Litigation Associate with a minimum of 2 years of general liability experience to join their growing Hackensack, New Jersey office. Maritime case experience is a plus but not required. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic, nationally recognized firm with more than 200 attorneys across the country. Responsibilities: Manage a diverse caseload involving general liability and maritime matters. Handle court appearances, depositions, and all aspects of case management. Draft pleadings, discovery demands, motions, and appellate briefs. Maintain regular communication with clients and provide case status updates. Why Join Our Client? Competitive compensation with robust bonus opportunities. Qualifications: J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school. Admission to practice in New Jersey and New York required. Minimum 2 years of general liability defense experience ; maritime law experience. Strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills. Excellent academic credentials and ability to manage multiple matters efficiently. Salary and Other Compensation: The annual salary for this position is between $120000 – $155,000 annually . Factors which may affect pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
