Distribution Operations Associate, VOD 24 month contract Burbank, Onsite M-Thur work from home Fri $45/hr (w2, eligible for benefits) Overview: We're seeking a detail-oriented, self-motivated Distribution Operations Associate to support Video-On-Demand (VOD) content delivery across multiple networks. This role ensures timely, accurate distribution while managing metadata, asset delivery, and partner communications in a fast-paced environment. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams including Media Services, Broadcast Operations, Programming, Sales, and Marketing, serving as a key point of contact for VOD operations. Responsibilities: Manage VOD content delivery to affiliates and partners, including automated and manual workflows, alerts, and redeliveries. Monitor distribution schedules and ensure assets meet technical and compliance requirements. Troubleshoot workflow issues, package content as needed, and maintain database and reporting accuracy. Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate programming deliveries, ad/promos distribution, and asset tracking. Document processes, follow standard operating procedures, and support continuous improvement initiatives. Maintain high-level customer service and act as a subject matter expert on tools, workflows, and industry standards. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in media distribution, broadcast, or post-production. 3–5 years' experience in media operations or VOD distribution preferred. Strong understanding of audio/video formats, broadcast standards, codecs, frame rates, resolutions, and delivery technologies. Experience with Aspera, Signiant, or similar delivery tools. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong attention to detail. Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. Flexibility to work all shifts, including weekends and holidays. Experience with MVPD a PLUS
