This contract position offers an opportunity to provide essential support as a Special Education Teacher within a K-12 educational setting in Amherst, MA. Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. Adapt curriculum and teaching methods to acmodate varying learning styles and abilities. Foster an inclusive classroom environment that promotes positive social interactions and academic growth. Monitor and assess student performance to adjust instructional strategies accordingly. Certification in Special Education. Strong knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices. Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to optimize student outes.
