An opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher to support middle school students with emotional and behavioral challenges affecting their engagement in the general curriculum. This position is based in Richmond, VA, serving a single school site with a current caseload of six students. The role focuses on providing tailored support to help students thrive academically and socially within the general education environment. Key Responsibilities: Deliver specialized instruction and behavioral support to middle school students with emotional and behavioral needs. Collaborate with general education teachers to modify and accommodate curriculum as needed. Develop individualized strategies to improve student participation and academic success. Maintain a flexible schedule to best address the evolving needs of students. Monitor and document student progress and communicate with families and support staff.
