Duties
As a Supervisory Management and Program Analyst at the GS-0343-14 grade level, some of your typical work assignments may include, but are not limited to, the following:
Provide advice and assistance to Prisoner Operations Division's senior management and staff on all detention aspects and program
responsibilities.Perform various analyses, evaluations, and advises senior management on the effectiveness and efficiencies within all detention programs and functions.Responsible for accomplishing strategic planning, initiatives, and divisional project objectives and development.Oversee the development and approval of all conducted research, studies, analyses and documenting any proposed developmental, consultative or implementation efforts relevant to missions; including strategic, business and action planning to improve processes and productivity to mitigate risk. QualificationsTIME-IN-GRADE REQUIREMENTS: Merit Promotion applicants must provide an SF50 Notice of Personnel Action that indicates proof of status and time-in-grade eligibility. The SF50 must include the position, title, series, grade, step, tenure, type of service (Competitive or Excepted) and career status (career or career-conditional). No award SF50 will be accepted as proof of status and time-in-grade eligibility.
One year at the GS-13 grade level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-14 grade level.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: To be considered minimally qualified for this position, you must demonstrate that you have the education and/or experience required for the grade level(s) to which you apply.To qualify at the GS-14 grade level, you must meet the following:Specialized Experience: Experience that equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. You must have at least one year (12 months) of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service performing the following duties:

Leading studies and/or research that evaluates a detention program's effectiveness towards meeting set objectives;Reviewing proposed initiatives and/or legislation to assess possible impact on current detention programs and operations;Providing technical and policy advice to a team of managers and support staff; andDeveloping and presenting solutions that solve issues within a detention program.
