Piping Support Engineer

Our client, a leader in the engineering and construction industry, is seeking a Piping Support Engineer to join their team. As a Piping Support Engineer, you will be part of the Structural Engineering Department supporting multi-disciplinary teams. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. 

Job Title: Piping Support Engineer 
Location: On-site at Kennedy Space Center, FL (Remote considered) 
Pay: Competitive with per diem available for non-local hires 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Design and locate supports for various piping systems 

  • Perform calculations to ensure compliance with industry standards 

  • Collaborate with layout personnel and pipe stress engineers 

  • Ensure designs meet cost-effectiveness and quality standards 

  • Coordinate with other engineering disciplines and vendors 

Requirements: 

  • Due to government contract requirements, U.S. citizenship is necessary for this role. 

  • Strong knowledge of AISC and ASME B31.3 codes and standards 

  • Experience with structural analysis programs 

  • PE Registration (Preferred) 

  • Experience with GTStrudel or Pipe SupportModeler software (Preferred)
