The Markosky Engineering Group has an immediate need for a CADD / Engineering Technician in our Ligonier, PA, York, PA, Steubenville, OH or Charlestown, WV offices.

The Markosky Engineering Group, Inc. provides engineering and environmental services to public and private clients in the Mid-Atlantic region. We are a diverse team of professionals, expert in our disciplines. We have a comprehensive understanding of current environmental and engineering standards, and a commitment to sustainable design initiatives.

In our over 25 years in business, we have built long-lasting and successful relationships with clients from offices in Pennsylvania, Ohio, and West Virginia.

The successful candidate will be based in Ligonier, PA; Mechanicsburg, PA; or Steubenville, OH. *Markosky is currently working in a hybrid work environment. *The successful hire will be able to work with our Structures Department Manager to set an amicable work schedule. *Travel to the office 1-3 days per week will be required.*

This position is responsible for performing Computer Aided Drafting and Design (CADD) and design work on projects to ensure that the goals or objectives of the projects are accomplished, under the direction of an Engineer and/or Project Manager.

*Essential Functions*
* Perform drafting / design duties as directed by the CADD Manager, Design Engineer, Engineer, and/or Project Manager.
* Assist other employees across multiple departments with CADD operation and / or design components.
* Assist with preparation of preliminary and / or final documents not limited to CADD work.
* Work alongside the CADD Manager to help establish efficient workflows and develop standard CADD practices for company use.
* Assist the CADD Manager with software troubleshooting and other CADD-related administrative tasks. Other projects / responsibilities may be added at the company's discretion.

*Job Requirements and Qualifications:*
* Education: High School Diploma / General Education Development (GED) required. Associate’s degree (or higher) or Technical School preferred.

*Experience:*
* 3+ years (required)

*Knowledge Requirements:*
* CADD experience required.
* Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil3D
* Experience with Bentley MicroStation, OpenRoads Designer is a plus.

*Skills:*
* Good oral and written communications required.
* Ability to work in a collaborative environment.

*Work Remotely: *Hybrid work will be available at the approval of the Supervisor.
