*About the Role:*

As an RN MDS Coordinator, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our residents receive the highest standard of care. The ideal candidate will have experience in medical terminology, utilization review, and inpatient care.

*Qualifications:*
* Graduate of an approved RN program, licensed in the state of practice.
* Minimum of two (2) years nursing experience in a skilled nursing facility preferred.
* Proficient in the care plan process with strong attention to detail and documentation skills.

*Responsibilities:*
* Coordinate the preparation of MDS and care plans in compliance with regulations.
* Facilitate ongoing evaluation of documentation for reimbursement.
* Ensure adherence to federal and state regulations and certification standards.
* Participate in regulatory surveys and corrective actions.
* Collect and analyze resident data to inform care decisions.
* Maintain confidentiality and promote positive interactions with all stakeholders.
* Support staff education and professional development initiatives.

*Physical Requirements:*
* Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods.
* Capable of lifting up to 75 pounds when necessary.
