As a PMO Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing projects within the Project Management Office (PMO). You will work closely with stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, and deliverables, and ensure successful project execution within established timelines and budgets. Your role will involve establishing project management processes, best practices, and governance frameworks to drive consistency and efficiency across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Execution: Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of projects in accordance with the PMO framework and methodologies. Develop project charters, schedules, and resource plans to ensure alignment with business goals and priorities.
Stakeholder Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with project stakeholders, including sponsors, business owners, and team members. Communicate project status, risks, and issues effectively and facilitate decision-making to resolve challenges and mitigate risks.
Scope and Change Management: Define project scope, objectives, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders. Manage scope changes and deviations from the project plan, and assess their impact on project timelines, budgets, and resources.
Risk and Issue Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle. Develop risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans to ensure project success and minimize disruptions to project timelines and deliverables.
Resource Management: Allocate and manage project resources, including personnel, budget, and materials, to ensure optimal utilization and efficiency. Monitor resource availability and capacity to address project needs and dependencies effectively.
Quality Assurance: Establish and enforce quality standards and processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality project outcomes. Conduct project reviews and assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor project progress, performance, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track project status and adherence to project milestones and deliverables. Prepare regular status reports, dashboards, and presentations for project stakeholders and senior management.
Process Improvement: Continuously assess and improve project management processes, tools, and methodologies within the PMO. Implement best practices and lessons learned from previous projects to enhance project delivery and efficiency.
Training and Development: Provide guidance, coaching, and mentoring to project team members on project management principles, methodologies, and tools. Facilitate training sessions and workshops to build project management capabilities across the organization.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or related field. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
5+ years of experience in project management, with a proven track record of successfully managing complex projects from initiation to closure.
Experience working in a PMO environment or managing projects within a structured project management framework.
Proficiency in project management tools and software, such as Microsoft Project, JIRA, or Asana.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders and teams.
Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on driving results and delivering value to the organization.
Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and adapt to changing priorities and requirements.
Knowledge of project management best practices, methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall), and governance frameworks.
Experience in process improvement, change management, and organizational transformation initiatives is a plus.
Potential to travel up to 30%.
