Job Summary and QualificationsPosition Requirements
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
Current ARRT (R) .
Current BLS Healthcare Provider certification through AHA or ARC. Advanced ARRT Credentials Strongly preferred within one year.
Education:
Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing or 24-month AMA approved school of Radiological Technology.
Experience:
Two years experience in critical care nursing preferred (RN) or one year diagnostic experience required (ARRT). Interventional Radiology experience preferred.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Solid to expert knowledge of all Interventional Radiology procedures. Demonstrates good organizational skills. Provides safe and appropriate patient care within the Values & Standards of Nursing Practice at SMC. Displays appropriate judgment and problem solving skills. Communicates positively and professionally with all internal and external customers.
