*ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Include, but are not limited to the following)*
* Provide maintenance support with moderate supervision to ensure the safe and effective operation of equipment and team.
* Perform routine preventative maintenance repairs on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic plant equipment.
* Conduct emergency mechanical or electrical repairs as needed.
* Troubleshoot issues related to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment.
* Safely apply knowledge and troubleshooting skills to all assigned production equipment.
* Effectively interact with all plant personnel to accomplish plant and individual goals.
* Minimize downtime due to equipment failure.

*Education and Experience* Must have minimum of 6 months of mechanic work experience or refrigeration experience in the work history section of the application or be a graduate of an industrial maintenance training program.
* PSM Experience is preferred.
* Refrigeration experience is preferred.
* Experience with ammonia refrigeration systems with an in-depth knowledge of refrigeration systems, components, and controls is preferred.
* *Computer Skills*: Basic computer skills necessary for logging information, processing daily work orders, and completing required documentation. Ability to learn and utilize the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
* *Communication Skills*: Effective communication and basic math skills required.
* Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 lbs. occasionally; ability to lift 20 lbs. frequently.
* Ability to stand on a hard surface for up to 12 hours per day.
* Ability to work in confined and tall spaces, walk, climb, utilize a ladder, operate a lift, bend, and stoop.
* Repetitive gripping, pushing, and pulling.
* Frequent overhead work.
* Temperatures inside the plant may vary from -25 degrees to over 100 degrees; outside work may also be needed.
* Basic math skills, including percentages, fractions, and measurements.
* Willing and able to work overtime and weekends.
* Willing and able to furnish your own tools.
