Duties
As the Chief Learning Officer, you will:
Oversee and manage the planning and delivery of Bureau training and development programs, activities, and services.Collaborate with managers, supervisors, and program staff in planning, administering, and assessing training and development programs and functions for the Bureau.Serve as an internal consultant to senior managers and participate in sensitive planning and decision-making deliberations and discussions with Bureau executives and supervisors.Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for the Bureau in a broad range of areas, such as career development and mapping, leadership development, communications, team building, customer service, and technical competency.Serve as the President's Management Council (PMC) Coordinator for the Department of the Treasury and partner directly with the Treasury Chief Human Capital Officer (CHCO) to identify the best suited candidates for the program.Requirements Conditions of EmploymentKey Requirements:Must be U.S. Citizen or U.S. National.A one-year probationary period may be required.Public Trust - Background Investigation will be required.All new hires will be required to comply with federal ethics laws. Qualifications
You must meet the following requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:For the GS-14 grade level, you must have one year (52 full weeks) of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized Experience for this position includes all of the following: Experience planning, designing, and delivering multiple talent development programs for an organization; ANDExperience designing and delivering adult instructional activities for face to face and virtual environments; AND Experience using analytical techniques to evaluate, identify root causes, and provide recommendations to identify training needs and to develop or improve talent development programs or projects; ANDExperience leading and developing training using a learning management system.
The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis.
