The ideal candidate for the Engineering Technician position will fit the following:

  • Provides technical support to electrical, mechanical, and manufacturing engineers for the development, fabrication, test, and site installation of electrical, electronic, mechanical, or software products or systems.
  • Assists engineers in assembling, modifying, debugging, and testing prototype products.
  • Maintains laboratories, tools, equipment, and products.
  • Able to design electronic or electro-mechanical equipment to adapt, test, and install the company's products.
  • Assists engineers in assembling, modifying, debugging, and testing prototype products.
  • Provides a high level of technical support to electrical, mechanical, and manufacturing engineers for the development, fabrication, test, and site installation of electrical, electronic, mechanical, or software products or systems.
  • Maintains laboratories, tools, equipment, and products.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A specialist in the field with fifteen years or equivalent experience, serving as an independent contributor, a technical consultant to the professional staff, a mentor to developing apprentices/entry level staff, or a leader of non-exempt employees.
  • Able to work independently while also developing innovative methods or otherwise improving of a range of technical fields.

Security Clearance Requirements:

  • Current/active TS/SCI with Polygraph

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of time
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer
  • Ability for clear communication with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations
