Engineering Technician

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Engineering Technician to join our team at the U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC), Directorate of Public Works. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the installation of complex systems and associated facilities, collecting data or modifying designs to achieve performance/cost objectives, and compiling information from technical documents, design reports, plans, and/or specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the installation of complex systems and associated facilities
- Collect data or modify designs to achieve performance/cost objectives
- Compile information from technical documents, design reports, plans, and/or specifications
- Interpret agency policy and regulations
Requirements:
- One year of specialized experience in construction, space planning, and energy consumption
- Ability to interpret agency policy and regulations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Working Environment: This position is located at the U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC), Directorate of Public Works. The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with a team of experienced professionals.
