Our client is a provider of specialized governance, risk, and compliance advisory services to Financial Services clients.

Description

  • Serve as a leader of the corporate governance program
  • Become a subject matter expert with respect to corporate policies, procedures, and controls
  • Develop, implement, and oversee policies and procedures
  • Oversee the management of corporate books, records, and filings
  • Maintain the intellectual property roster and manage new trademark applications
  • Serve as liaison between insurance brokers and management team
  • Manage legal service process strategies and monitor ongoing litigation
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders regarding corporate governance
  • Perform ad-hoc work and special projects to support various client and internal initiatives

Profile

  • Bachelors Degree required
  • 5-10 years experience as a Corporate Paralegal with a focus on Corporate Governance
  • Experience exercising discretion and making independent judgments on matters of significance
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and clients
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, Adobe Acrobat, and the Internet
