A reputable school district located in Nassau County is currently seeking Pediatric RNs for various summer programs and for throughout the 2024-2025 school year, working 1:1 with students and providing first aid and other nursing services such as medication administration and medical supervision to students. We currently have a variety of roles throughout the Long Island/Nassau county area, and are looking for talented RNs to join this team

The base pay range for this position is $52 to $54 per hour. The actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based on geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of the offer. This is a true temp-to-perm role; you can gain access to company benefits, paid time off, and more perks once you transition

*Responsibilities:*
* Educating students on hygiene and safety practices
* Dispensing prescription medications to students per physician instructions
* Verifying vaccination records
* Taking students’ temperatures when fever is suspected
* Administering first aid and CPR
* Treating minor injuries such as cuts, scrapes and bruises
* Contacting parents when students are ill or injured

*Requirements:*
* Valid NYS RN license
* Prior experience with pediatric population highly preferred
