Job Title: Parts Analyst, Aftermarket
Location: Hybrid - Davidson, NC

Job Summary:
As a member of the North America Services & Aftermarket Product Management team, the Services and Aftermarket Analyst will be an integral part of driving the key strategic growth area of spare parts and service in North America. This role supports all of the North America compressor brands and channels. You will be working as part of a team that develops and maintains parts offerings to ensure customer’s air compressor equipment and systems are operational throughout their life cycle.  This role is important to ensuring that we have the right parts to minimize disruption to customer operations during scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.  You will collaborate with Sales Enablement, Operations, Sourcing and Engineering to facilitate and execute parts item setup as part of the daily management of our ~100,000 parts as well as New Product Introductions. This role will be at the center of our Service BOM development and execution, utilizing (and improving) standard work. This includes analysis and responsibility of parts obsolescence planning.  The person will review parts consumption data and recommend appropriate parts disposition (obsoleting, re-pricing, stocking, etc.).  This role offers candidates the opportunity to gain exposure to various functions, including Sales Enablement, Product Management and Marketing. This team member will also be responsible for pricing spare parts in select channels, and will be critical for pricing process improvement.

Responsibilities:
  • Own spare parts pricing for the Gardner Denver compressor portfolio in North America, this includes daily support and larger new product introductions
  • Provide daily life cycle-sales and product support for the aftermarket portfolio; provide commercial guidance to functional partners (e.g. supply chain, engineering, product management) to ensure parts availability and market-based pricing
  • Support Aftermarket Product Managers to ensure aftermarket readiness for effective new product launches or revised service offerings; this includes parts loading and fulfillment strategy
  • Participate in process improvement events and problem solving around defined challenges and gaps
  • Lead additional assignments as needed within the Services team that support business and personal developmental need
  • (50%) Pricing Management for Gardner Denver Compressors
  • (40%) Creating and loading parts for New Product Development / Obsoleting parts ad hoc in various ERP systems
  • (10%) Reporting (e.g. parts load status, weekly portfolio life-cycle management, ad hoc reports as requested)  


Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • A minimum of 2+ years of industrial business experience
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Manufacturing ERP system experience required (SAP and/or Oracle highly desired)
  • Aftermarket experience and/or compressed air industry experience is a plus
  • Salesforce.com experience is a plus
