Adjunct faculty will be responsible for teaching undergraduate courses in Communication, such as journalism, broadcasting, and graphic design. Principal Duties & ResponsibilitiesTeach courses as defined by course and learning objectives established through the college and defined in teaching letter of agreement. Adjuncts can teach a minimum of one class per academic year and up to 4 classes per semester. QualificationsPreferred of a master's degree in Communication or closely related field (e.g., journalism, media studies, public relations, broadcasting, or graphic design).Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Communication or closely related field (e.g., journalism, media studies, graphic design) as well as 10+ years of experience in a related field. ExperienceTeaching experience preferredStudent-centered teaching approachesProfessional experience in the Communication field preferred. Working ConditionsWork is normally performed in a typical classroom environment.
