Ross Education, LLC is seeking a qualified Adjunct Faculty Member to instruct students in our General Education courses. As a member of our faculty team, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality education to our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver course work as it applies to the Ross curriculum
  • Utilize contemporary teaching strategies and practices to enhance the learning process
  • Accurately record student attendance and maintain accurate records
  • Hold conferences with students as needed and follow Student Guidelines
  • Maintain a well-organized classroom and manage program supplies and equipment
  • Monitor class retention rates and actively participate to promote student retention
Requirements
  • A Master's Degree* or a Bachelor's Degree in the subject matter discipline, or a Bachelor's Degree with sufficient credits in the subject matter courses being taught
  • Sufficient ability to move around the building and classroom to satisfy student needs and/or facilitate student participation
  • Sufficient visual and auditory ability to operate computer equipment, use telephone, read materials, use white board and use classroom equipment
  • Ability to communicate effectively in classroom and individual settings
  • Knowledge of materials (subjects) that will be taught to students and ability to use and communicate Ross curriculum
  • Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced work environment
  • Ability to use current technology to maintain student records
  • Ability to achieve or maintain credential and/or licensure within expected time frames
  • Demonstrates professionalism in manner, dress and conduct as a representative of Ross and a student mentor
  • Ability to remain objective and treat all students equally
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Adhere to Ross Code of Conduct and Professional Ethics
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior teaching or formal tutoring experience using a developed curriculum
