The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to work independently, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Forklift Operator (Stand-Up)

Location: Mount Vernon, Indiana

Pay Range: $20 per hour

What’s the Job?

  • Operate powered equipment for moving, locating, relocating, stacking, and counting products (80% of the shift).
  • Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials using a stand-up forklift or other power equipment.
  • Pull and prepare products for shipment, ensuring the exact number and types of products are loaded.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports for inventory accuracy.
  • Comply with all OSHA and MSDS standards.
  • Work the 2 PM to 10 PM shift.

What’s Needed?

  • High school diploma or equivalent 
  • Forklift operator certificate or completion of a forklift training program within the first 30 days of employment.
  • Six months of warehouse experience and six months of forklift operation experience 
  • Ability to spend 80% of time operating powered material handling equipment.
  • Basic familiarity with warehousing and good written and verbal communication skills.
