Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Ensure that products and services perform according to quality standards and that manufacturing processes are capable and qualified.
  • Responsible for inspection plan for aviation hardware
  • Uses trouble shooting techniques to problem solve area Quality issues.
  • Developing conceptual knowledge in manufacturing quality. May include support roles with specialized expertise or technical knowledge in broad area.
  • Applies quality knowledge through education or past experience. Understands how work of own team contributes to the area.
  • Resolves issues using established procedures. Consults supervisor or more senior team members for issues outside of defined instructions/parameters.
  • Collaborates with others to solve issues. For customer facing roles, develops strong customer relationships and serves as the interface between customer and GE. Exchanges technical information, asks questions and checks for understanding.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university (or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years manufacturing experience
