Our client in the healthcare industry is seeking a Hospital Cook to join their team. As a Hospital Cook, you will be part of the food service department supporting the hospital's patients and staff. The ideal candidate will have experience in production cooking and on-line cooking, as well as familiarity with code dates and food temperature guidelines.

Job Title: Hospital Cook

Location: Westminster, CO

Pay Range: $18.29 - $22.00 per hour

What's the Job?

  • Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and/or cold food items for various meal periods: to include Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and Special/Catered Events.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation guidelines.
  • Adhere to recipes and menus, taking into account dietary restrictions and preferences.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Collaborate with other members of the food service team to ensure timely and quality meal service.

What's Needed?

  • Minimum of two years of production cooking and on-line cook experience.
  • Black slip-resistant kitchen shoes, polo shirt, and black pants are required.
  • Ability to work weekends and a flexible schedule.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
