Our client, a leading medical device manufacturer, is seeking an Assembler II to join their team. As an Assembler II, you will be part of the Production Support Department supporting the Assembly Team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, which will align successfully in the organization.

 

Job Title: Medical Device Assembler II

Location: Menlo Park, CA

Pay Range: $24.00/hr

 

What’s the Job?

  • Perform repetitive and non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and mechanical assemblies, including modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables.
  • Work from visual aids, method layouts, diagrams, schematics, process flow sheets, and written or verbal assembly instructions.
  • Set initial layouts and use hand and/or power tools, jigs, and saws to assemble components.
  • Conduct continuity checks on work in process and completed assemblies; perform quality inspections in accordance with specifications.
  • Disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions.

What’s Needed?

  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong soft skills including attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving.
  • 0-3 years of medical or clinical experience or exposure to working under a microscope is a plus.
  • Ability to work under moderate supervision with general guidance and detailed instructions for new tasks.
  • Experience in a production or assembly environment is preferred.
