Job Title: Customer Service Representative-Personal Lines Insurance

Location: Croton on Hudson, NY

Temp-Perm Opportunity

Pay Range: 25.00-26.00/hr, based on experience

M-Fri 9am-5pm

This position will be responsible for:

· Interacting with clients assisting with their insurance needs including policy inquiries, policy changes, coverage explanations, and claims assistance.

· Manage insurance policies for individual clients, ensuring that policies are accurate, up-to-date, and meet the client's needs. This includes issuing new policies, renewing existing ones, and adjusting as necessary.

· Provide quotes explaining coverage options, premiums, and policy details to help clients make informed decisions about their insurance needs.

· Identify opportunities to cross-sell additional insurance products or coverage options to existing clients based on their needs and circumstances

· Responding to billing and payment processing inquires and completing required reports and documentations

· Maintain accurate records of client interactions, policy changes, claims activity, and other relevant information in the agency’s database and software systems.

· Any other service-related item

Requirements:

· Knowledge of basic office equipment, Microsoft Office: Teams, Word, Excel, Outlook, & AMS360

· Must maintain a positive and enthusiastic attitude

· Knowledge and understanding of personal lines insurance carrier guidelines, lines of business, coverages and terms

· Proficiency to multi-task, follow-thru and follow-up

· Exceptional communication skills verbally and written

· Personal Lines experience-at least 2 years

· Work closely with insurance agents, underwriters, and other team members to provide comprehensive support to clients and ensure smooth operations within the agency.
