We are currently seeking a Field Tech/ Hardware Support - Onsite in Northampton, MA to join our team in Northampton, Massachusetts (US-MA), United States (US).

Position Overview:
  • Performs trouble shooting, parts replacement, system upgrades, and basic deployments & repair on Client Assets in campus / remote locations
  • Identifies potential issues that could adversely impact End User experience and follows through on action steps
  • Strives to meet all Client SLAs & Customer Satisfaction Goals
  • Individuals here have a well-rounded knowledge of the policies and procedures for their work area
  • Their work may require discretion and independent judgment for non-routine matters. However, the primary focus of work activity is predominately routine
  • They may make policy recommendations to their managers and be an escalation point for less experienced team members
  • Performs basic troubleshooting, parts replacement, systems upgrades, deployment and repair on desktops / notebooks/printers
  • May respond to calls after normal business hours per leader instructions


**Schedule and Location Expectation: Standard 8am-5pm M-F with the potential for a weekend request, so flexibility to adapt per client needs will be a must. The main client location is located in Northhampton, MA, with the potential to visit another client location nearby in Enfield, CT.

Basic Required Qualifications:
• 3+ years IT technical support experience (desktops / notebooks /printers/ peripherals (tablets))
• Ability to physically perform general office requirements. (Physically be able to lift and move Enterprise and Client technology hardware in Client environment - roughly up to 50+ lbs)

Highly Preferred Skills/Experience:
• Execute service delivery (IMAC, Break Fix, Desk Side Support) according to Managed Client Policy & Procedure Guide
• Strong Tablet support and phone support is highly preferred
• A+ desktop or equivalent skill set
• Individual should be knowledgeable of Windows operating system environment
• Solid, professional client service skills
• Must be able to perform essential responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodations
• Certification in various hardware platforms may optionally be required for servicing hardware issues
