Title: Technical Support Specialist - Level 2

Position Summary:
$23-$24

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Level 2 IT Technician to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and a customer-focused attitude. This role involves providing advanced support for IT issues, maintaining systems and networks, and ensuring efficient and effective IT operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide advanced technical support for hardware, software, and network issues in a MS Windows Environment

• Diagnose and resolve complex IT problems in a timely and efficient manner.

• Assist in Managing and maintaining servers, workstations, and other IT infrastructure.

• Configure and maintain network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls.

• Implement and maintain company policy and security protocols to protect company data.

• Assist end-users with IT-related inquiries and provide training on new technologies.

• Create and maintain documentation for IT procedures and solutions.

• Support remote users and ensure secure access to company resources.

• Participate in IT projects, including planning, implementation, and documentation.

• Collaborate with other departments to understand and address their IT needs.

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree or equivalent experience

• Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP), or similar.

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT support

• Proficiency in MS Windows desktop and server operating systems.

• Experience with Azure Active Directory

• Strong knowledge of networking protocols and hardware.

• Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

• Understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Reliable transportation to travel throughout Western MA (Berkshire, Franklin, Hampshire and Hampden County).

Compensation: $23.00 - $24.00 per hour
