Occupational Health Nurse

Leidos-QTC Health Services* has a Registered Nurse (RN) opening for an experienced RN to join our team supporting the Occupational Health services for an Intelligence Community customer located in Chantilly, Virginia. *this role will be be employed under "Jamshid Tamiry, M.D., P.C., dba QTC Medical Group of Alaska, a Leidos QTC Health Services affiliated medical professional corporation"
Candidates must possess or be able to obtain Top Secret/SCA clearance with polygraph.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities of Occupational Health RN:
- Assist medical staff in processing for transactional tasks to include, but not limited to, screenings, vaccinations/immunizations and patient triage.
- Administer various medical tests as required such as:
- PFT
- Audiology
- Vision
- Vital Signs
- Some duties may include medical transcriptions
- Maintain patient records through electronic medical record documentation
- Work independently as needed to achieve day-to-day objectives
- Coordinate with other medical staff as needed and communicate with internal and customer team members
Competencies:
- Familiarity with working in Occupational Health
- Ability to read, write, and analyze/evaluate charts
- Excellent verbal and communication skills
- Detail-Oriented
Education and/or Experience: (includes certificate & licenses):
- Bachelor’s Degree in nursing required
- Active Registered Nurse License to work in Virginia
- Must have 5+ years of experience as an RN
- Must have experience working in Occupational Health setting
- Must be able to obtain governmental security clearance of Top Secret/ FS Polygraph
- Must be US Citizen
Pay and Benefits:
Pay Range: $51-$57/hr + quarterly bonus eligibility.
