Access Control Security Officer

Wage: $20.00-21.00/ hour

Security Experience Required

Dispatching Experience Preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Assist visitors and serve as public relations representatives
  • Protect visitors and personnel on the premises
  • Provide and manage face masks and safety glasses for employees and visitors
  • Serve as a deterrent to criminal acts, including vandalism
  • Protect proprietary and classified information and report potential hazards
  • Watch for suspicious activity on property
  • Control the entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and vehicles
  • Monitor surveillance cameras
  • Ensure visitor passes and logbooks are correctly maintained
  • Check in deliveries and communicate with relevant departments
  • Manage temporary and employee badges, including sanitizing and reusing
  • Provide visitors with rules, regulations, and maps
  • Assist with road closures. Information is then scanned onto SharePoint for visibility
  • Assist with camera permits and scanned onto SharePoint
  • Answering plant protection phone lines as well as switchboard phones. Transferring of phones to other operation

Security Officer/Guard

  • Security Positions are Full and Part Time
  • Must have excellent Customer Service skills
  • Security positions require you pass our drug screen and background check
  • Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guard


Job Requirements of the Security Officer/Security Guard include but are not limited to:

  • Security Officers/Security Guards observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel.
  • Frequent sitting, standing and walking, which may be required for long periods of time, and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain.
  • Additional physical requirements of the security officer/guard may include frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds
