Job Summary and Qualifications

We are seeking a Monitor Technician for our facility to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. What You Will Do In Your Role:

  • You will be knowledge of medical terminology
  • You will interpret cardiac rhythms
  • You will maintain telemetry supplies
  • You will maintain and make decisions to report patient condition to supervising parties
  • You will perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 pounds

What qualifications you will need:

  • High School Graduate or equivalent
  • 6 months of Monitor Tech experience in an acute care setting preferred
  • BLS Certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross) is required
  • CMT/Cardiac experience preferred
  • Completion of Basic EKG/Arrhythmia course
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret cardiac rhythms and arrhythmias
  • Must pass a Basic Rhythm test, if interviewed
