Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Monitor Technician to join our team at HCA Houston Healthcare Medical Center. As a Monitor Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the high-quality care of our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret cardiac rhythms and maintain telemetry supplies
  • Maintain and report patient condition to supervising parties
  • Perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 pounds
Requirements
  • High School Graduate or equivalent
  • 6 months of Monitor Tech experience in an acute care setting preferred
  • BLS Certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross) is required
  • CMT/Cardiac experience preferred
  • Completion of Basic EKG/Arrhythmia course
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret cardiac rhythms and arrhythmias
  • Must pass a Basic Rhythm test, if interviewed
