Job Title:  Production Assistant Manager (HVAC)
Location:  North Sacramento, CA
Pay Range: $25.00-$30.00 depending on experience.
Shift: Monday – Friday / 9:15am to 6:00pm.             
Job Overview:
The Production Assistant Manager supports the Production Manager in overseeing daily operations within the production facility. This role involves coordinating production activities, ensuring adherence to quality standards, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. The Assistant Manager will also assist with staff supervision, process improvements, and troubleshooting production issues.
What’s the Job?

  • Assist in Daily Operations: Help plan and oversee daily production schedules, ensuring timely and efficient operations.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and support production staff, providing training, guidance, and performance feedback.
  • Quality Assurance: Monitor production processes to ensure products meet quality standards and compliance with regulations.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in production processes and collaborate on implementing solutions.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure that all safety protocols and procedures are followed to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Inventory Management: Assist in managing inventory levels, including raw materials and finished products, to prevent shortages or overstock.
  • Troubleshooting: Address and resolve production issues and equipment malfunctions in a timely manner.
  • Reporting: Maintain accurate records of production activities, including performance metrics and any incidents or issues.
What’s Needed:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, Engineering, Business, or a related field (preferred)
  • Experience: At least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with some supervisory experience.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a solid understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with manufacturing software, safety regulations, and quality control standards.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to monitor processes and ensure adherence to quality and safety standards
  • Must possess a can-do attitude and excellent attendance.
  • Basic computer systems – email, Excel, scanners, and printers. Experience with Oracle WMS is a plus.
  • Comfortable in a fast paced, changing environment.
  • Positive demeanor, dependability, and strong work ethic.
  • Self-starter with ability to learn systems quickly.
  • Continued focus on improving system efficiencies and business practices.
  • Environment: Work is performed in a manufacturing facility with exposure to equipment and machinery.
  • Physical Demands: May require standing for extended periods, lifting moderate weights, and working in varying temperatures.
