Position Overview:
Craft Machine is seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. As a Welder, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal structures and equipment through the use of welders, cutters, shapers, and measuring tools. Your expertise will contribute to the production of high-quality products in accordance with industry standards and specifications.
Responsibilities:

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the appropriate welding process
Operate welding equipment safely and efficiently to fabricate and assemble metal components
Perform various types of welding techniques including MIG, TIG, and ARC welding
Inspect welds for accuracy, quality, and conformance to specifications
Maintain welding equipment and tools in good working condition
Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
Collaborate with other team members to meet production goals and deadlines

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent
Proven experience as a Welder or similar role
Proficiency in various welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, and ARC welding
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
Knowledge of safety procedures and practices related to welding
Welding certification preferred

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift and move heavy objects up to 50 pounds
Stamina to stand, bend, and kneel for extended periods
Visual acuity and depth perception for accurate welding
Physical strength and endurance to perform repetitive tasks
