Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $22.00 per hour
12 hours shift, 3 days on/4 days off/4 days on/3 days off (day and night shifts)

What’s a typical day as a Quality Assurance Plant Monitor? You’ll be:
• Assisting the Quality Control group in conducting plant monitoring testing on cottonseed for quality standards
• Performing quality checks such as truck sampling, sample de-linting, acid percentage, dryer temperature, buffer temperature, bushel weights, pH, cleanout percentages, seed count, tare analysis, seed appearance, bag analysis, calibration of scales, and down time coding
• Inspecting packaged finished products to verify standards are met
• Entering data on Plant Monitoring Spreadsheet
• Reporting any deviations of quality parameters
• Maintaining a clean work area and following safe work practices
• Utilizing lab equipment such as temperature probe, pH meter, beakers, distilled water, buffers, scales, bushel weight apparatus, and seed counter
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have strong attention to detail and the ability to perform repetitive tests for extended time periods
• Can follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Work Instructions (WI)
• Are able to work near/with other workers on a daily basis
• Have the physical ability to stand and walk for periods of time in an industrial and warehouse setting
• Are comfortable working with industrial equipment such as delinters, dryers, buffers, cleaners, gravity tables, seed tanks, shakers, conveyors, baggers, scales, palletizers, wrappers, forklifts, trucks, and loading ramps
• Are willing to wear the required personal protective equipment (safety glasses, coveralls, gloves, safety boots, N95 mask, and hardhat)
