Purpose and Scope
The Contract Compliance Specialist is responsible for performing critical functions in a high mix, low volume manufacturing environment, supporting a company that plays a vital role in national defense. The primary responsibility is comprehension and management of all contract requirements. This role reviews, plans, organizes, communicates, and execution of all project requirements. Key results include ensuring that all departments have the information required for performance of their functions (e.g., purchasing, quality, manufacturing planning, engineering, etc.).
Responsibilities Objectives

PERFORMANCE: Continuously distill project requirements while improving quality and delivery by completing all work on time or early with zero errors
TECHNOLOGY: Increase operational efficiency and throughput by maximizing the capabilities of all project management tools
EFFICIENCY: Improve operational workflow and throughput through ProShop ERP utilization and other planning tools
ORGANIZATION: Create organizational relationship to create, review and approve 100% error free work product, to be used by all Cogitic team members in execution of their responsibilities

Perform review of customer projects
Document customer deliverables (hardware and software)
Create ERP data in ProShop; Parts, Work Orders, BOMs, Outside Processing, etc.
Prepare & track customer submittals
Develop internal drawing packages from customer-provided documentation
Review internally developed solid models for conformance to customer-provided drawings
Review test plans/procedures (hydrostatic, flow, etc.)
Review incoming material/process certifications
Assist in developing documentation of processes/procedures/trainings
Prepare final certification packages
Other duties, as required
Results



Efficient and effective project management tools continuously used throughout project execution
Internal and external flow-down requirements provided to the user before date needed
100% error free customer documentation submitted before required date
New projects planned and initial tasks in other departments enabled within time frames metric

Organizational Relationships
The Contract Compliance Specialist reports to VP Mission Assurance and has support responsibilities to Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality and Supply Chain.
Qualifications and Experience

Associates degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Management or Finance – required
Bachelor's degree in a project management or quality field, or equivalent experience- preferred
Ability to read and understand drawings, specifications, and other technical documentation- required
Ability to perform self-directed work- required
Highly organized, methodical approach to tasks- required
Excellent time management and organization skills- required
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams- required
Knowledge of ERP systems- required (ProShop experience preferred)
Ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks and projects - required
Working knowledge and experience with SolidWorks 3D modeling software- preferred
US citizen and ability to pass a background check and hold a security clearance- required
