As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining computer numerical control (CNC) machines to produce precision parts and components according to specifications.
Use blueprints, sketches, computer-aided design (CAD) and work instructions to produce precision parts
Produce parts that meet required machine output specifications while maintaining high production rates
Perform precise measurements for cutting/shaping tasks
Monitor machine operation, troubleshoot, and appropriately adjust inputs to correct any issues outside specified tolerances
Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy, using precision measuring tools and gauges
1st shift or 2nd shift (M-Thu) OR AWW1 or AWW2 (Fri-Sun) availability
Review and understand blueprints, drawings, and/or written instructions to understand the machine output specifications.
Perform routine machine maintenance and repair minor damages.
Perform basic shop math, use precision measurement instruments and metrology tools.
Assist in the development of other team members.

Qualifications You Must Have HS Diploma or GED
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
Qualifications We Prefer
6 months manufacturing experience, technical training, military training experience, or completion of Certified Manufacturing Specialist Program
1 year of CNC machine operator experience that would include, but not limit to retooling, minor maintenance, changeovers, and first article inspection.
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and manuals
Ability to use precision tools (e.g. calipers) to take accurate measurements
Experience with MS Office Suite
