Job Description
The position of Electrical Engineer will support the engineering team at producing high quality, mission critical products, and electrical systems for the United States Navy. The Electrical Engineer will utilize their experience in design principles, development, circuit design, electrical analysis, testing, fixturing, and documentation to support a variety of Navy components and aid the engineering team in product development and system integration. The Electrical Engineer will be involved with the support of internal electrical systems used in the control and monitoring of test stands and equipment.
Responsibilities / Duties

Work with project managers and other engineers to assist in meeting the objectives of CEPEDA’s engineering projects
Create, update and maintain electrical schematics and wiring diagrams using Autodesk Eagle, AutoCAD Electrical and other electrical design packages
Work with manufacturing department to provide technical support and assistance
Identify and aid in process refinement and improvement
Assist in development of manufacturing/inspection fixtures
Assist in equipment testing
Complete tasks in engineering documentation
Update and maintain electrical parts via Autodesk Inventor
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
High initiative, work ethic, and teachability
Motivation and eagerness to learn defense industry skills and concepts
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work well on a team, but also able to work independently
Interest in growing technical skills and communication skills
Ability to read, understand, and communicate technical information
Hands-on experience valued
Microsoft Office applications
Preferred experience in Autodesk Inventor
PLC development / support desired (Rockwell Studio 5000)
