Your Job Molex is looking for a Buyer at our Pinellas Park/St. Petersburg, Florida location. In this role you will be responsible for procuring the materials essential for delivering our finished products to customers. Your primary focus will be on ensuring reliable delivery, achieving cost savings, and maintaining effective communication across the business. Your contributions will support the production of components used in a wide range of data and technology-driven industries. What You Will Do Manage MRP via SAP: Place purchase orders for both direct and indirect spend products. Review and Update SAP Master Data: Oversee minimum order quantities, safety stocks, lead times, purchasing info records, and provide forecasting as needed. Optimize Supply Chain: Collaborate with corporate resources to evaluate and improve the current supply chain. Develop Sourcing Strategies: Analyze large data sets to create sourcing strategies by component and supplier. Meet Key Targets: Ensure the site meets inventory targets, delivery reliability, and cost-saving initiatives. Resolve GRIR Discrepancies: Handle goods receipt/invoice receipt discrepancies and address late purchase order processing. Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with production, planning, and customer service to meet customer requirements.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) Proficiency in SAP: Strong experience with SAP is required. Microsoft Office Expertise: Proficiency with Microsoft Office is essential. Effective Communicator: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Team-Oriented: Strong interpersonal skills to achieve goals while collaborating with various business teams. Organized and Detail-Oriented: Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving abilities. Adaptable: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
