We're looking for a team-oriented individual who is eager to dive into the fabrication process and grow within a dynamic environment.What You Will Do:
Performs deburring, drilling and other secondary operations in support of sheet metal fabrication processes
Performs basic preventative maintenance tasks
Ensures quality product utilizing Collins quality procedures
Audits work area for safety compliance
Adheres to all Collins rules and codes of conduct.
Takes an active role to ensure Environment, Health, and Safety standards and procedures are met and complied with
Looks for ways to eliminate safety hazards and improve the overall safety of the workplace
Provides continuous improvement ideas in order to support lean and CORE initiatives
Performs other duties as required and available for overtime as necessary
Ability to learn how to read and interpret engineering product drawings
Ability to read and understand basic work instructions as provided for product fabrication
General knowledge, skills, and understanding with hand and power tools to include, rotary tooling, sanding devices, manual deburring tools, wrenches, etc. needed for sheet metal fabrication
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to learn and utilize inspection tools to include calipers, tape measures, pin gauges etc.

Qualifications We Require:
Typically requires a HS Diploma. In the absence of a HS diploma or GED, 2 years of relevant experience is required.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. Collins Aerospace will not offer sponsorship for this position.

Qualifications We Prefer:Previous manufacturing experience.
