As a Senior Technical Writer/Documentation Specialist specializing in systems integration, you will play a crucial role in creating and maintaining comprehensive technical documentation for our in-store retail media platforms. Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation such as technical how-to guides, test/assessment reports, certification documents, standards/templates, user manuals, installation guides, and service manuals for Quad's systems including hardware and software products.
* Partner closely with engineers, project managers, and other Quad resources to comprehend technical specifications and translate this into user-friendly documentation.
* Manage documentation projects from inception to delivery, prioritizing tasks and coordinating with multiple teams to meet project deadlines.
* Establish and uphold documentation standards, templates, and style guides to ensure consistency across all materials.
* Assist in training materials development for internal teams and clients.
* Utilize diverse media formats, including print, digital, and video, to enhance the accessibility and understanding of documentation.
* Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in technical writing and documentation.
Proven experience in technical writing or documentation specialist role, with an understanding of systems integration principles and practices.
* Strong technical foundation with the ability to understand and articulate complex hardware and software solutions.
* Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen attention to detail.
* Experience in managing multiple documentation projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
* Proficiency in documentation tools such as MadCap Flare, Adobe FrameMaker, Adobe Acrobat, MS Office, and familiarity with HTML/CSS.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in technical writing or documentation specialist role, with a focus on systems integration.
Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, English, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field required.
