Technical Project Manager - Implementation
Summary:
Per Sé Group is seeking a dynamic and experienced Technical Project Manager with a strong background in software implementation to lead a critical project. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the transition from our client’s homegrown system, which has been in use for the last decade, to a new data acquisition and analytics solution. This role requires a hands-on approach to project management, with a deep understanding of the technical aspects of software implementation, strong data analytics and reporting experience, and exceptional communication skills across all business levels.
Responsibilities:Take ownership of the project, ensuring its successful completion within the designated timeframe. Identify current issues, tasks, and necessary actions to drive the project towards the go-live date in three months.Leverage your technical knowledge to understand and address the intricacies of the software implementation process. Collaborate with the technical team to resolve issues and mitigate risks effectively.Utilize your experience in data analytics and reporting to oversee the integration of the new analytics solution.Maintain strong communication with all stakeholders, including senior management, team members, and external partners. Provide regular updates, reports, and presentations on project status, risks, and progress.Identify root causes of potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. Proactively address any issues that may hinder the project's success.Work closely with the project team to ensure alignment and support. Foster a collaborative environment to achieve project goals.
Required Skills and Qualifications:Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT project management, with a focus on software implementation and data analytics projects.Strong understanding of technical aspects of software projects, including data acquisition systems and performance metrics.Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex projects on time and within budget.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues proactively.Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience in leading cross-functional teams and driving project success.Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
