We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our client's growing team in Meridian. This is a full-time onsite position. In this role, you will play a vital part in our financial operations, handling various accounting functions and driving process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with the compliance and controls team to implement and maintain internal controls.Participate in monthly financial close, consolidation, and reconciliation processes.Assist in monthly reporting and analysis activities.Engage in annual external audit and statutory audit processes.Ensure compliance with GAAP and implement new standards as needed.Act as a business partner to the organization, addressing functional questions and interactions.Demonstrate a strong understanding of general accounting principles, including leases, fixed assets, costing, payroll/compensation, and allocations.Identify, recommend, and implement accounting process improvements to align with company goals and objectives.Perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in accounting; CPA certification is a plus.Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, with 1+ years in public accounting preferred.Strong knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements and GAAP (US and international).Proficiency in change management and critical thinking.Ability to manage multiple responsibilities with a strong sense of urgency.Experience with external audit firms and preparation of external financial statements preferred.Excellent Excel skills; experience with Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations is advantageous.Process improvement and project management skills are a plus.Benefits:Competitive salary with annual bonus and performance/merit increasesComprehensive healthcare plans (medical/dental/vision)Paid time offTeam member discountsFlexible spending accounts for eligible health and day care expensesEmployee Assistance Program (EAP) for work-life balance supportLife insurance coveragePandoLogic.
