Pride Health is hiring for a Medical Assistant to support our client’s medical facility based in Pasadena, CA. This is a 5-month assignment (Possibility of extension or conversion) opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization
Responsibilities:
- Traveling to 5 clinics within the Pasadena area to administer flu vaccines- different clinic each day.
- Administering flu vaccines on a daily basis.
- Assisting with rooming patients when flu traffic is slow
- Venipuncture skills
- Assisting with tasking queues for clinicians
Qualifications/Requirements:
- A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Must have Medical Assistant certificate
- Phlebotomy trained/certified
Job Title: Medical Assistant
Location: Pasadena, CA
Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
Pay Range: $18 to $23/hr
*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
