Continuous Improvement Manager

Roots Automation is seeking an experienced automation leader who is interested in constructing

solutions that improve automations across Roots Automation’s ecosystem by pushing the limits of

traditional automation (RPA) to design and strengthening the Digital Worker of the future. The ideal

candidate has strong grounding in Blue Prism (prefer Solution Designer accreditation), effective

communication skills, experience in maintaining processes, and familiarity with complimentary

technologies (APIs, OCR, Python, ML, C#, etc.). This role will lead a growing team, perform maintenance and

support of live automation solutions, as well as play a key role in improving and developing the

existing automations/templates within Roots.


Responsibilities:

• Monitor processes running across Roots’ automation platforms

• Review logs to perform root cause analysis

• Troubleshoot internal and system exceptions that may occur across the processes

• Review change requests with developers, continuous improvement analysts, and customer

success, that come in from customers on processes

• Brainstorm ideas for process improvements that can strengthen the stability of the

automations

• Manage Continuous Improvement Jira Board and plan sprints to prioritize internal and

external change requests

• Lead the development of change requests

• Review process code and documentations to ensure the process is ready to go live and

enter the Continuous Improvement and Support fold

• Maintain common issues/solution documentation for support


Qualifications:

• Experience developing RPA solutions; Blue Prism Solution Design preferred

• Excellent communication skills with business stakeholders, including ability to translate

business requirements into robust automation solutions

• Active learner and consumer of innovative technologies, particularly low/no-code

development platforms

• Experience of working within an Agile or Scrum-based continuous integration environment

• Comfort reviewing/requesting more information on Process Design documents (business

oriented) and technical design documents (solution-team oriented)

• Comfortable working within project planning constraints, communicating project risks, and

providing inputs to the change control process.

• Ability to both lead a team of developers and testers and implement automation solutions

independently

• (Optional) Prefer additional experience with the Python programming language
