Principal Duties/Responsibilities:

· Performs software validations and ensures solutions are tested and issues are corrected.

· Isolates, replicates, and reports defects to confirm requirements achieve test objectives.

· Assists with designing and implementing sound quality and testing methodologies.

· Uses project system to manage tasks/issues affecting localized content, quality, and functionality.

· Traces test cases and results back to specific user stories/requirements/quality risks.

· Implements test processes on projects, writes test plans, procedures, and analyzes test results.

· Dedicates time to exploratory testing and represent the customer voice to development teams.

· Helps investigate the root cause of system issues and provides mitigation support.

· Assists with defining and tracking quality assurance metrics.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities (KSAs), & Competencies:

Essential KSAs:

· Bachelor's degree in related field and two years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

· Knowledge of manual, automatic, and usability testing.

· Strong analytical, problem solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.

· Strong technical problem-solving skills and the ability to stay focused under pressure.

· Strong organizational and coordination skills - to succeed in a fast-paced environment.

· Experience collaborating across the organization - integrating with numerous teams.

· Experience with bug tracking and task management software.

Desirable KSAs:

· Familiarity with the Agile software development approach

· Knowledge of testing frameworks

· Producing Testing Documentation

· Application Testing, Mobile Testing, Smoke Testing, System Testing, etc.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands/fingers to handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch; and talk or hear. The employee is also required to use a telephone with headset for verbal troubleshooting, frequent use of a standard keyboard and computer to document calls in a ticketing system, and occasional use of other office equipment. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move more than 30 pounds. The employee is occasionally required to sit for long periods and use close and color vision. Work is typically performed in a moderately noisy business office.
